World class bands perform in venues around the town in Mammoth Lakes. Over 20 bands offering music from traditional, dixie, big band, zydeco & swing. Great food & souvenirs, scenery and mountain fresh air! With an enthusiastic group of local organizers, great traditional jazz, and spectacular High Sierra views, Mammoth Lakes adds up to one giant jazz buzz. Ten venues are scattered among the high mountain pines and laid-back town bars, where more than 20 bands sound out Dixieland and other traditional styles for appreciative fans. While many all-stars trek cross-country, the majority of performers come from around the west coast.Sounds of Swing, Dixie, Big Band, Zydeco and much more are all featured at this event.
