SF MAD DASH presents: Helluva Halloween 1st Annual 5K Costume Run Saturday, October 27, 2012, 9:30am–2:00pm Golden Gate Park Polo Field, San Francisco, CA We’re all a little mad here! The Saturday before Halloween, dress up and run like mad through Golden Gate Park on October 27th (we’ll let you walk like mad, too, if you’d rather). Stay in costume and stick around for the after-party by the polo fields to enjoy frightfully delicious food, devilish drinks, and monstrously macabre music. In addition to fun treats in your goody bag, all registered participants also receive a free raffle ticket for a chance to win $1,000 cash! All ages are welcome to run, walk, and party. Prizes will go to the top female and male runners, with awards by age group as well. There will be plenty of entertainment after the race ends, including a costume contest (with prizes for the best adult, kid, and group costumes), kid zone, beer & wine garden, local eats, live music and DJ, cash raffle, and more!

ve. and turn right on JFK or 36th Ave. and turn left on JFK. Park along JFK, or if that’s full, park on Fulton. Please do not park in the Angling Lodge lot or the main Polo Fields lot. Taking Muni? The 5 Fulton will drop you off at Fulton and 36th. Walk into the park and take a left at Spreckels Lake. Cross JFK at the cross walk and follow the signs in to the stables area for the starting line. Visit transit.511.org to plan your trip by public transportation.
