I am opting to cancel as of today. The event was design to conclude the closing of the Champion Builders Summer Camp. As well as benefit the programming inside of the park. West Side Park Unity Weekend was developed at the time I was employed by Tri-City Peoples Corporation; where I work at: West Side Park Community Center; as a Program Coordinator. I resigned from that position on Monday- August 7th. 2006 West Side Park Unity Weekend, only connection to Tri-City Peoples Corporation; was to give 60 plus children on the event opening day Back Packs, and other goods for completing summer camp in which I was apart of from the opening of Champion Builders Summer Camp on Wednesday- July 5th 2006 until I resigned on Monday- August 7th. 20006. The event is canceled this year we will work hard to find a new venue next year. Tri-City Peoples Corporation, Executive Director- Toni L. Caldwell, James Condos, and Wayne Edwards the Executive Staff have not been diligent when it comes to the operation of the West Side Park Community Center. I will step outside my direct knowledge to advocate for whats right for the Community to oppose their miss handling of operation funds. And lack of funding for their community programming. I have spent more than $2,500.00 of my own funds to get my job. And I was robed of more than 30 actual hours I worked. For further information on the Cancellation of the West Side Park Unity Weekend.
