An inspirational and visually stunning evening fashion show event and auction, featuring aspiring FIDM designers and their collections, all modeled after the red-carpet couture seen throughout the 2010 Award Season. After the 2010 season commences, The Grove, Southern California’s premier destination for fashion and style will partner with Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), Los Angeles’ premier fashion academy, to produce a fashion event that pays homage to the real Red Carpet by creating the “Wearable Red Carpet”. The show will feature FIDM’s most promising student designers and their masterful replicas of the fashions seen on the red carpet that season. Each replicated gown will be auctioned off, with all proceeds benefitting a non-profit.

From Downtown Los Angeles: Take the 10 Freeway West to the Fairfax Avenue exit. Take Fairfax Avenue North just past the intersection of Fairfax Avenue and Third Street. Admission & Parking
Self Parking: Self parking may be accessed from either Fairfax Ave or The Grove Drive. No validations accepted for valet parking. To make your parking experience more efficient, we have installed digital signs on each level to indicate exactly how many parking spaces are available. Self Parking Rates: The first hour is free 2nd-3rd hour = $3 $1 per every 20 minutes thereafter Daily Maximum = $22, reached when length of stay is 7 hours (420 minutes) or longer
