HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – Labor Day Weekend 2009 – Boardfest marks its triumphant return this year with the largest youth event of its kind in the U.S. Boardfest ’09 features surfing, snowboarding and skateboarding competitions, fashion shows, live bands, surf & skate clinics, empowerment activities, an interactive exposition and a Labor Day salute to Girl Power. Boardfest is held at the Huntington Beach Pier over Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 5 to 7. More than 100,000 spectators – primarily tweens, teens and young adults – attend over three days.
