The heritage and music festival began in 1996 when Uvalde’s Grammy Award-winning musicians, Los Palominos, sought to perform for the community that helped them get their start. Now produced by Uvalde Festival and Events Association, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in association with Southwest Texas Junior College, the annual Labor Day Weekend event donates thousands of dollars each year towards SWTJC student scholarships. Weekend Mega Passes will be available for $15.00 good for all three days. Single day admission is $10.00 per person. Kids age 10 and under will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
