An Old Time ChristmasBranson, Missouri, USA
Early November
DescriptionIt's the most wonderful time of the year at Silver Dollar City. You’ll create special holiday traditions, celebrate the true meaning of this magical season and take home memories that will last a lifetime...together with your family during An Old Time Christmas!
Kringles Krossing
Pay a visit to St. Nicholas, the jolly guy himself, at his home away from home, Kringles Krossing, located in the Carousel Barn. Mrs. Claus has been very busy redecorating their Branson home and would like to invite all of you to an open house!
You'll see the famed study where all plans for the North Pole are laid out and Santa's one-of-a-kind time and weather station forecasting the best routes for Rudolph and team to take to stay on schedule.
Plus, stop by the Kringle's kitchen where you'll always find fresh baked cookies right out of the oven ready to be decorated!
A Dickens' Christmas Carol!
Complete with flying spirits, disappearing ghosts and singing statues, this unique musical adaptation, created especially for Silver Dollar City, surprises its audience with amazing special effects.
Holiday Light Parade
Santa’s sleigh joins the acclaimed Holiday Light Parade, with a reindeer in the lead and Santa at the reins. Santa’s gigantic toy sack spills the Gifts of Christmas out the back, as the entire float glows with over 3,000 lights. The popular parade of colorful floats, emblazoned in over 80,000 lights, glides through the streets of the City each evening.
Against the backdrop of trees and buildings bright with lights, the Holiday Light Parade offers musical and visual imaginative fun as it presents the gifts of Christmas twice each evening. (weather permitting)
Tree Lighting Celebration
The entire City is transformed into a holiday wonderland each evening at 5:30 p.m. as guests join together on the Square for the lighting of the dazzling, five-story Special Effects Christmas Tree. Adorned with over 250,000 lights coordinated to blaze to the musical movements of Christmas songs, this unique Special Effects Christmas Tree presents classics such as "Carol of the Bells" and Handel’s "Hallelujah Chorus" in a spectacular light and sound show.
