A Night In Old San Antonio- NIOSA
San Antonio, Texas, USA
A Night in Old San Antonio (NIOSA) is the annual, April celebration of San Antonio’s heritage held each year during the week of Fiesta. International cultures, foods and entertaiment are featured in 15 areas of the historic downtown village of La Villita along the River Walk.
Fiesta means fun the world over, and fun is A Night In Old San Antonio! Locals lovingly refer to our four-night frolic as NIOSA® pronounced (knee-oh-sa).
Annually attracting 100,000 visitors to the downtown, historic little village of La Villita, NIOSA® is presented by the San Antonio Conservation Society as part of the Fiesta San Antonio celebration held each April.
Tuesday through Friday evenings during Fiesta, La Villita is divided into fifteen different cultural areas for the presentation of ethnic costumes, food, music and fun. Representing truly old San Antonio, NIOSA® includes many of the sights, sounds and tastes brought to the city by its earliest settlers.
A Night In Old San Antonio®” benefits our community by celebrating and preserving the customs and culture unique to our region.
