10th Annual Battle Creek Caribbean Festival August 16, 2025 at The Base Bar & Grill BATTLE CREEK, Mich.-The Battle Creek Caribbean Festival will bring the Islands back to Battle Creek on August 16, from 6:00p.m.-11:00p.m. After Party 11:00p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Presale tickets will $7 increasing the day of the show to $10. VIP tables $80.00 - $125.00 Come celebrate the vibrant culture of the Caribbean in Battle Creek no pass port necessary. An evening of outstanding music, Caribbean inspired cuisine, drinks and crafts. The Reggae line-up includes award winning well-known regional acts presented outdoors under blue skies, beautiful sunshine all the way until the evening playing irie tunes under the moon and stars. This year's headliner voted Chicago's Best Reggae Band the Hurricane Reggae band hailing from the exotic isle of Dominica fronted and founded by Jean “Cleve” Jacques. Cleve musical career began at the tender age of fourteen when he was performing as lead guitarist and vocalist for the Islands leading band. Support includes the legendary King Mellowman 10-time winner of Detroit Music Awards who is a multi-talented, accomplished musician whose versatility extends from Pop to Reggae to Caribbean and beyond and Roots Vibrations Winner of Detroit’s Best Reggae band is a musical force that provides authentic Caribbean music. Made up of members from the exotic islands of the Caribbean and the funky streets of Detroit, this band will stimulate your senses with positive roots music. Festival MC and DJ is Assane Dia from Senegal. Featured food vendors include Jamaican Spice, Xav's Caribbean Jammin Fusion with authentic Caribbean cuisines, Chef N Ultimate Catering and Veggz Café.
