12th Annual Tequesta Chili Cook-Off

The 12th Annual Tequesta Chili Cook-Off raises money for five veterans charities: Warriors Renewal Coalition, Operation 300, SE Florida Honor Flight, Wounded Veterans Relief Fund and Tequesta Friends of Public Safety. This 21 and older, all inclusive, clear bag event is from 2-6PM on November 11, 2023: Veterans Day! We celebrate our WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, Wounded Veterans and gold star families with 32 teams of firefighters, public safety, military and private sector competing for the best chili in South Florida. The community truly comes together on this day to show our veterans how special they are! There are military fly-overs, pipes and drums, craft beer and seltzers by TBC, raffles and prizes, a VIP tent with upgraded food and drinks from McCarthy's Irish Pub and Harry and the Natives, and live music from No Big Deal Band and DJ Brad Barfield. Local celebrity judges: Steve Weagle (WPTV), Matt Lincoln and Kara Duffy (WPEC), T.A. Walker (WPTV), Molly Young (Mayor of Tequesta), Abby Brennan (Former Mayor of Tequesta), Brendon McCarthy (McCarthy’s Irish Pub), Harry MacArthur (Harry and the Natives), Nick Price (PGA Champion), Ken Kennerly (Pop Stroke and Honda Classic), Mark Murphy (Golfer), Carson Novins (Carson's Tavern), Marina Marino (PBC) and more.
