The Spring Frolic is an opportunity to "Discover Yesterday Today," whether you're a history buff, music lover, or simply looking for a weekend of family-friendly fun, this event has something for everyone! With over 200 musical performers on six stages, old-time barn dancing, music workshops and jams, Historic demonstrations, Children’s Activities, Food, Silent Auction, Crankin A's Antique Cars (until 2pm on Saturday only), arts and crafts vendors and more! Activities Include: • Musical Extravaganza: With over 200 musicians performing on 8 stages, music enthusiasts will be treated to a diverse range of genres, from bluegrass and folk to country and blues. • Contra Dancing: Put on your dancing shoes and join in the lively contra dancing sessions, where participants of all skill levels can enjoy traditional folk dances in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. • Workshop Tents and Jam Tents: Delve into the rich traditions of folk music through talent-taught workshops and curated jam sessions led by skilled musicians. Antique Car Show (Saturday Only): Marvel at a stunning display of vintage automobiles at the Antique Car Show, a highlight for enthusiasts of classic cars and automotive history. Presented by the Crankin’ A’s Ford Model A Restoration Club. • Bake Sale: Indulge your sweet tooth with delicious homemade treats at the bake sale, featuring an array of pies, cakes, cookies, and more. • Silent Auction: Bid on a curated selection of antiques, arts, and crafts at the silent auction, where unique treasures await discovery. Arts & Craft Vendors: Shop for one-of-a-kind handcrafted goods from local artisans and craftsmen, showcasing their skills in pottery, woodworking, textiles, and more. • Historical & Craftsmen Demonstrations: Witness living history demonstrations as skilled craftsmen showcase traditional techniques in blacksmithing, woodworking, weaving, and other crafts. • Concession Stand: Fuel your fun with delicious fare from the concession stand, serving up mouthwatering hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled pork, and refreshing beverages.
