2022 PLANT CITY PIG JAM STATE BBQ CHAMPIONSHIP: 5 to 10 p.m. Nov. 18, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 19, Randy Larson Fourplex, 1500 S. Park Road, Plant City. Free admission. Parking $10. 19th Annual Plant City Pig Jam presented by Citizen’s Bank & Trust featuring more than 50 teams. Friday night: live music at the Pepin Sports Bar; 8 p.m. mechanical bull riding contest at the Patterson Companies’ main stage, $5 cover, 18 and older only. Barbecue dinner available to purchase. Saturday: two stages of live entertainment featuring live bands as well as community groups performing throughout the day. The Citizen’s Bank & Trust Piglet Play Area features bounce houses, rock climbing walls, face painting, games and entertainment for kids of all ages free. Awards ceremony at 5 p.m. All proceeds from the Plant City Pig Jam benefit The Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce, which serves both the Plant City business community and residents. www.plantcitypigjam.coms
