2024 Historic Cemetery Tour

Join us for our annual self-guided walking tour of the Historic Mesa Cemetery with guest narrators. This year we are featuring a different section of the Cemetery and have new gravesites being featured that have never been done!

This year the tour features:
-A heavyweight boxer who fought Muhammad Ali
-A cowboy who served in the Spanish-American War
-One of the first African-American families to settle in Mesa
-A native woman who is rumored to have died at the age of 126
-A NFL player
-Country music legend Waylon Jennings
-Also featuring the cemetery's section dedicated to the unmarked graves from the depression era
and more!

This is a self guided walking tour with speakers at each featured gravesite. All cemetery tour passes are good for free admission to the Mesa Historical Museum (valid on Oct. 26th only).
