2025 Hilo Chocolate Festival

Taste the 'Aina at this family-friendly free event featuring Hawai'i Island grown cacao and chocolate! Sample and purchase delicious bonbons, bars, and other products as you browse the showcase of Hawai'i Island's cacao and chocolate growers and artisans. Vote for your favorites for a chance to win a Grand Prize gift basket of Big Island chocolates! Enjoy exhibits about growing cacao and making it into chocolate. Knowledgeable EHCA members and agricultural organizations will be on hand to answer questions, whether you are curious or serious about growing cacao or chocolate making. Plant a cacao seed in a pot to take home and grow your own cacao tree, while supplies last. Bid on interesting and unusual objects at the silent auction - your purchase will help to fund the Festival and EHCA's mission of supporting East Hawai'i Island's cacao growers and chocolate makers. Complimentary off-site farm tours will depart from the Festival throughout the day, weather permitting. Register in person on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited.
