2025 Wyoming Archaeology Fair

Event includes a full-day of free activities tailored to children of all ages and adults. Have you ever wanted to learn how to make an arrowhead? The Archaeology Fair is your chance! There will be other hands-on activities where you get the opportunity to take home your creation - learn how to make a pinch pot, paint a rabbit hide, thrown an atlatl, get your face painted, make a bracelet from cordage, process Yucca to create rope, and learn other ancestral skills. Join in with the Living History booth with Fort Laramie or learn about the tradition of Ledger Art from acclaimed Wyoming Artist Robert Martinez. Learn how to play Historic Games from the folks at the Wyoming State Museum and watch how ceramics were traditionally fired. There is something for everyone at this event. The Wind River Dancers will be performing traditional styles of dance at 1 pm - don't miss it!
