The Half Moon Bay Wine & Jazz Festival returns for its fifth year on Saturday, May 9, 2026, bringing together leading California wineries, world-class jazz, and local cuisine along historic Main Street in Half Moon Bay. Running from 12–5 p.m., the festival continues to grow as one of the Coastside’s signature spring events for wine, food, and music enthusiasts. Presented by the Half Moon Bay Downtown Association, the festival will feature tastings from up to 50 California wineries representing major wine regions including Napa Valley, Sonoma, Paso Robles, Mendocino, Lodi, and the Santa Cruz Mountains. Attendees can explore a wide range of varietals and styles — from sparkling and crisp whites to robust reds — while meeting winery representatives and discovering new producers alongside established labels. Participating wineries include Absolution Cellars, Austin Hope, Breathless Sparkling Wines, Caelesta Wines, Cuvaison, Gibbs Vineyards, Harney Lane Vineyards, Hendry, Klinker Brick Winery, ONX Wines, Palmaz Vineyards, Round Pond Estate, Tablas Creek Vineyard, Thomas Fogarty Winery, Turley Wine Cellars, Truchard Vineyards, and many others, offering a diverse “Taste of California” in one walkable downtown setting. Music is a central focus of the festival experience, with the Main Stage showcasing top-tier jazz performances curated by acclaimed musician, bandleader, composer, and educator Marcus Shelby. The curated program is designed to deliver a high-quality live jazz experience that complements the wine tasting atmosphere. Artist announcements will follow. In addition to wine and music, the festival highlights the region’s food and beverage scene. Local food trucks and specialty vendors will offer a range of dishes — including fresh seafood, barbecue, and gourmet street fare — available for purchase throughout the event. A dedicated craft beer and cider garden will feature selections from Bay Area breweries and cideries, expanding options for attendees.
