Join us Sept 29th & 30th, 2023 for the 49th Strut!! The Irmo Okra Strut Festival is FREE to the public thanks to our sponsors! Individual fees apply for rides, amusements and food/drink. Family fun, live music, and all the goodness that is Okra. The Irmo Okra Strut Festival is the perfect FREE festival to end your summer. Whether you grew up eating Okra or can’t stand the green pods, we have food and drink options you will love! If you are traveling from out of town, our festival is always a blast and full of many southern specialties. Conveniently located just a few miles from the beautiful Lake Murray means you have lodging options that include everything from camping to boutique hotels.
