??? The 50th Annual Apple Butter Festival is almost here — and this year is going to be legendary! ??? Join us October 10–12, 2025 in beautiful downtown Berkeley Springs, WV, as we celebrate half a century of one of West Virginia’s most beloved fall traditions. What started 50 years ago as a way to bring the community together has grown into an iconic festival that draws tens of thousands of visitors every year — and trust us, there’s no better place to be this October. So, what makes the Apple Butter Festival so special? Imagine strolling through our charming small town (straight out of a Hallmark movie) with crisp fall leaves swirling around you, live music playing in the background, and the scent of apple butter simmering over an open fire. It’s cozy, it’s festive, and it’s a whole lot of fun. ?? Incredible Music Lineup The stages will be rocking all weekend long! On the WV Wine, Beer & Spirits Garden stage, we’re thrilled to feature Mark Cullinane, Sweet Yonder, and the Luke Johnson Band. On the Main Stage, enjoy The Robert Mabe Band, The Flashbacks, Hymns for Him, and our 2025 headliners, The Kelly Bell Band! Plus, don’t miss local talent including the Berkeley Springs High School Marching Band (who kicks off the festival every year with a bang), Berkeley Springs High School Dance, BlackCat Village Band, and — for the very first time — the Eastern Panhandle Community Band. ?? Contests You’ll Never Forget Do you have what it takes to strut your stuff in the Beard & Mustache Contest? Think you can out-yell the rest in the Hog Calling Contest? Or maybe your talents lean more toward tossing raw eggs across the park (without ending up covered in yolk, of course). From the Baking Contest to the hilarious Egg Toss, our contests are fun, lighthearted, and absolutely unforgettable for both participants and spectators. ?? Community Spirit This festival is all about celebrating the people who make Morgan County so special. Watch the Grand Parade Saturday morning (applications are open now if you want to join in!) and wave as the floats, bands, and community groups march proudly through downtown. On Sunday morning, join us for Service by the Springs, a beautiful non-denominational gathering open to all. ?? WV Wine, Beer & Spirits Garden Kick off the fun Friday night, October 10, with our Craft Beer & WV Wine Garden party from 5–9pm. Then, all weekend long, enjoy the best flavors West Virginia has to offer with craft beer, local wine, and spirits.
