The 5th Annual Kentucky Food Truck Championship returns to Renfro Valley on Saturday, September 13, 2025, bringing together the state’s top culinary-on-wheels talent for a full day of food, fun, and friendly competition. This year’s event promises mouthwatering creations from dozens of food trucks representing a wide range of cuisines — from smoky barbecue and crispy fried favorites to gourmet desserts and international flavors. Attendees can enjoy live entertainment, craft vendors, and family-friendly activities, making it one of the most anticipated foodie gatherings in Kentucky. A panel of judges will crown the 2025 Kentucky Food Truck Champion with a $5000 cash prize, while guests can cast their votes for the coveted People’s Choice Award. Food trucks will also compete in specialty categories recognizing creativity, flavor, and presentation. “We’re excited to showcase the incredible talent and diversity of Kentucky’s food truck scene,” said Jessica Blankenship, Executive Director. “It’s more than a competition — it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and, of course, amazing food.” The Kentucky Food Truck Championship is free to attend with $5 per vehicle parking (cash only). Food is available for purchase directly from participating vendors. Doors open at 11:00 a.m., and the competition will run throughout the day.
