60th Annual Long Island Scottish Festival and Highland Games!

With bagpipes, caber tossing, concerts, food, and kids’ games, the 60th Annual Long Island Scottish Festival and Highland Games is back and a perfect day out for everyone! Pipe bands will perform throughout the day. 42nd Royal Highland Regiment, Scottish dog breeds, pony rides, a petting zoo, birds of prey, falconry and much more will be happening around the grounds for everyone to enjoy. The day’s festival Entertainment will include the following listed here and more: Albannach (from Scotland) Bangers and Mash (from Brooklyn) Isla Higgins (World Champion Highland Dancer) New York Celtic Dancers (Professional Scottish Dance Company) Irish step dancers from the Ciara Greene School of Irish Dance Competitions throughout the day will include: Caber Toss Tossing the Sheaf & Putting the Stone Children’s Races Children’s Caber Toss & Tug O’ War Shortbread Contests Antique British Automobiles Festival Vendors will include: Scottish/Celtic products & novelties Fish & Chips Scottish Pies Sausage Rolls Scottish Woolen and Tartan Goods
