68th Annual BBQ - Olivet Christian Church

The 68th ANNUAL CHICKEN BBQ is Saturday, June 13th with drive-thru food pick-up from 3:00 - 6:00 PM. Menu: grilled chicken (adult meal is a half chicken; child's meal is 2 legs), green beans & potatoes, applesauce, and pie. Tickets available online and at the door: Adult meal - $15 advance ($17 at the door); Child meal $5. Supporting: Good Dads, Inc and P.E.A.C.E. and H.O.P.E. Center for Youth. DADS AND KIDS – THAT’S WHAT WE’RE ABOUT! GOOD DADS, INC. helps local dads address obstacles to staying connected with their children. When fathers are able to engage in activities and conversation with their children, the children are more likely to have strong verbal skills, have fewer behavior problems in school, get better grades, and show an increase in curiosity and problem-solving skills. Some classes are open to all dads and “dad-figures”. P.E.A.C.E. and H.O.P.E. CENTER FOR YOUTH provides a safe and structured environment where children and youth can strengthen their education, engage civic projects, interact with other students, and exercise responsibility. Programs at the Center are free, with the exception of the Summer Program. Find us on Hwy WW just 8 minutes east of Highway 63 at the Harg watertower.
