Richmond throws itself a party — and you’re invited! Join us for the free 804 Day music and community festival at the 17th Street Market on Saturday, Aug. 2. Enjoy 10 of Richmond’s beloved and dynamic talents across three stages in the heart of Shockoe Bottom, celebrating the region’s vibrant and diverse sound.\u2028With performances by: - Kadencia Orchestra (Latin) - Nickelus F (Rap) - Høly River (Folk) - REIN (Pop/Rock) - Weldon Hill Quintet (Jazz) - Bucko (Honky-Tonk/Goof-Rock) - Los Hermanos Alacranes (Rock/Latin) - Flora and The Fauna (Punk) - Kaay Taurus (R&B) - Vexine (Southern Rock Noir) In addition to live music, celebrate all things RVA with arts, crafts, food and drink, a Kids Zone, 50 community vendors and a showcase of Richmond-focused nonprofits. Free admission for all ages. Beer trucks available for guests 21 years old and older. The festival takes place between 16th and 17th streets, from East Main to East Grace streets, with street closures. 804 Day is presented by Shockoe Records and the City of Richmond, with support from Venture Richmond, Virginia Tourism Corporation, WNRN, The Shockoe Partnership and Virginia Credit Union.
