About Brian Ganz, piano
Pianist Brian Ganz plays a program of Chopin works that embraces the widest range of the Romantic master’s pianistic world: from hidden gems like the first sonata, composed when Chopin was a teenager, to beloved favorites like the masterful Barcarolle; from mazurkas that tenderly capture the composer’s love for his homeland, to a scherzo that expresses the fullest measure of his passion. As an added bonus, Mr. Ganz will take audience requests for their favorite works by this most beloved of all composers for the piano.
