After Midnight’s Christmas Party (Two Nights)

After Midnight will be holding their Christmas Party on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 December 2024. The venue be Cluny2 at 34 Lime Street, Ouseburn. Doors open at 7.30pm. Band on stage at 8.30pm. Tickets have just gone on sale. NB: This will NOT be an Eric Clapton tribute gig although one or two of Slowhand's songs will be covered, along with music by Free, Dire Straits, The Beatles, Steely Dan and many other rock classics. After Midnight comprises Mike Hall (lead vocals/guitar), Gregg Strettle (drums) and Dave Robson (bass guitar /backing vocals). Dave is a former member of chart band Geordie. In fact he was with them at the time Brian Johnson left to join AC/DC. Steve Hutchinson (keyboards & backing vocals) was a member of The Animals for 6 years during the 1990’s alongside original members Hilton Valentine & John Steel. After Midnight have performed sold-out gigs at most north east venues. In December 2023 the band performed their Farewell Classic Clapton Concert at Sage Gateshead. Mike continues with Classic Clapton unplugged shows and the occasional gig by the ''After Midnight'' band such as this Christmas Party. It will be a very rare chance to see these local legends.
