Celebrating 20 Years of Chamber Music!
The Paramount Chamber Players turns 20 years old this concert season, and we're celebrating this special anniversary with several extraordinary performances! We're thrilled to invite you to our opening concert series, ALPINE AUTUMN, featuring chamber music by Mozart and Brahms.
As you listen to Mozart's Piano Trio in E Major, you'll be swept away to a sidewalk cafe in Salzburg, Austria in the shadow of the towering, snowy Alps. If you then hear the sound of a horn calling over the mountains, that must be the music of Brahms' iconic Trio for Horn, Violin, and Piano. Sprinkled throughout the program will be a fun selection of Brahms' works for piano four-hands, including the rollicking Hungarian Dance No. 5 and the beautiful Waltz Op. 39 No. 15.
Performed by a star-studded lineup of musicians, ALPINE AUTUMN will feature violinist Sean Claire, horn player Jeffery Whaley, cellist Cherylonda Fitzgerald, and pianists Ryan Fogg and Katherine Benson.
