Altamont Fair

The Capital Region's hometown fair features live music on two stages, thrilling midway rides, the Royal Hanneford Circus, Sea Lion Splash Show, racing pigs, animal barns, livestock shows, Comedy Magician Dewayne Hill, a lumberjack show, Altamont Country Store, Blue Ribbon Cooking Center activities, exhibits, demonstrations, favorite fair food and more.

Daily highlights:

• Tuesday: Miss Altamont Fair Pageant (10am), Country artist Jordan Stoner (6pm)
• Wednesday: 4-H Rabbit/Cavy Show (10am), Union Depot (6:30pm)
• Thursday: Ice Cream Social (3pm), Corgi Races (6pm)
• Friday: Lucky E Rodeo (5pm), Big Sky Country (7pm)
• Saturday: Battle of Altamont - Pro Wrestling Exhibition (6pm), Aquanet (7pm)
• Sunday: Tame the Rooster (5pm), Demolition Derby (6pm)

Admission: $10 Tuesday; $15 Wednesday - Sunday; free for ages 10 & younger; free Wednesday for ages 65+, Grange members, active military & veterans (ID required)

Unlimited ride wristbands are $25 Tuesday, $30 Wednesday - Sunday, or $25 online before Aug. 13.

Fair gates open at noon on Tuesday and 10am Wednesday - Sunday. Midway hours: 2-10pm Tuesday, noon-10pm Wednesday - Thursday, noon-11pm Friday - Saturday, noon-8pm Sunday
