Enjoy an evening of country music with a twist while helping save the lives of American and IDF military veterans. Omer Netzer, after performing at the American Country Music Awards, transitioned from being Israel's leading country artist enjoying a quiet life in Nashville, to serving his country. Upon returning home, he faced emotional challenges so returned to Nashville to pursue his dream.
Join this talented artist as he shares his unforgettable songs like 'God Works in Wondrous Ways', 'Angel,' and 'Goodbye Song.' It is sure to be a night to remember.
The evening will benefit the Heroes to Heroes Foundation, an organization that addresses moral injury, the shame and guilt brought home from war. For the passt 14 years, Heroes To Heroes has served over 600 veterans, both American and IDF. Their 12-month values-based curriculum provides step-by-step healing through peer support, connecting with faith, and reintegration into the community. Veterans work in small teams that become a family, giving them support and strength during the most difficult times.
The cornerstone of the program, a ten-day journey to Israel, provides participants with the tools they need to reconnect spiritually. Veterans of the Christian faith get baptized in the Jordan River and all learn about their faiths where they all began. They return from Israel with a full understanding of the context of their faith and a reconnection to their Creator.
Over 600 veterans (480 American, 150 Israeli) have participated in the program. To date, there are no suicides among the Heroes To Heroes alumni.
