Join the 35th Annual Anacortes Waterfront Festival on June 6–7, 2026, a free, family-friendly celebration highlighting the beauty, culture, and maritime traditions of Anacortes. This beloved community event draws residents and visitors alike for a weekend filled with entertainment, hands-on activities, and local flavor along the waterfront. Festivalgoers can explore a wide variety of attractions designed for all ages. Kids can take part in the popular Children’s Toy Boat-Building activity, sponsored by the Fidalgo Rotary Club, where they build and test their own mini sailboats. The Anacortes Yacht Club offers free boat rides, giving attendees a chance to experience the water firsthand. One of the most anticipated events, the “Quick & Dirty” boat-building competition, challenges teams to construct boats using limited materials before racing them at Cap Sante Marina. Visitors can also participate in the Passport Activity, collecting stamps from vendors for a chance to win prizes. The Channel of Discovery provides interactive educational exhibits, featuring over a dozen local organizations focused on boating, wildlife, and environmental education. Families will enjoy the large carnival slide, while car enthusiasts can attend the Corvette and Classic Car Show, held over both days with raffles and awards. In addition, the festival features a vibrant mix of art and commercial vendors, a variety of food trucks, and live music performances throughout the weekend—making it a fun, engaging, and memorable experience for everyone.
