Join Full Circle Theatre Company as they present the world premiere of a new play by local playwright Michael Caemmerer on the value of art.
For Dave's 50th birthday, his dad, a brilliant and well-regarded artist, paints him a special gift. When his dad shows up at his front door with the painting in a protective blanket, Dave excitedly unwraps the new addition to his collection, unveiling what is without a doubt the worst painting his dad has ever done, one that if he has his way will never hang on a wall in his house.
Centered around this actual painting, Angel on a 50th Birthday is a play about how we assign value to the things we collect, and how hard it is to let go of some things no matter how much we dislike them.
