Come to the Table includes recipes from Beiler’s upbringing on her family’s farm in the Amish community of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, as well as recipes handed down through word of mouth, scribbled on note cards, or gathered in boxes on kitchen shelves. In addition to Amish classics, breads, pies, entrees and desserts, the cookbook also incorporates personal memories from Beiler of joining her father, mother and seven siblings three times a day around their kitchen table for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
