Join us in keeping up the time-honored tradition of a Shawnee chicken dinner! 1920s Shawnee families and friends would gather on Sunday afternoon to socialize and share a fried chicken dinner - it even made the local newspaper “gossip” column! We’ll gather for a summer meal on the lawn (rain location is Town Hall) and enjoy music by the Kansas City Ukesters and a vintage car display by the Plain Ol’ A’s Model A Ford Club. Classic ice cream sundaes bar included! Tickets are $14 per person and registration is required. Please call (913) 248-2360 to RSVP. Entrance will be by the Museum’s Town Hall, located at 11600 Johnson Dr, Shawnee, Kansas 66203.
