Annual Soup/Chowder and Cookie Contest

The Surry Community Improvement Association (SCIA) will host its Annual Soup/Chowder and Cookie Contest on Sunday, February 9th, from 1-3 p.m. at the Surry Elementary School. The Contest is a fundraiser for the SCIA Patty Fitch Memorial Scholarship fund. A $5 per person donation is suggested; children under 10 are admitted free of charge. All are welcome to come sample a variety of soups, chowders, and cookies prepared by local contestants and then cast your vote for the best in each category. Prizes will be awarded for Best Soup/Chowder, Best Cookie, and Best Cookie by a Youth.
