The Rosemount Area Arts Council (RAAC) presents ArtBlast, a week-long celebration of the arts, from June 20-26. The ArtBlast experience will include daily and nightly entertainment, performing arts, visual arts, arts and crafts activities, art exhibits, a photo contest, and a melodrama in the park by the Front Porch Players. All events are FREE. Bring your chairs and blankets, sit back, and enjoy these free events. Sunday evening features the South of the River Community Band at 5:30 pm and John Philip Sousa Band at 7 pm. South of the River Community Band - Formed in 1990 with a dozen church members for church services in Savage, MN. The South of the River Band has grown to over sixty members who range in age from teenagers to grandparents with a diverse assortment of instruments. John Philip Sousa Band - Founded in 1970, this 45-piece concert band plays the music the audience likes to hear, doing it with sincerity and a sense of great fun!
