Asian Lantern Festival

The Asian Lantern Festival, presented by DSF Charitable Foundation, is starting to take shape with the installation of colossal lanterns that will illuminate Pittsburgh’s nights. Tickets are on sale now at pittsburghzoo.org for this truly unique evening experience that will run select dates from August 14 through October 30, 2021. As dusk settles in, the lanterns will begin to glow. Revelers will stroll the winding pathways of the Zoo, pausing to admire the beautiful lights, experience awe-inspiring entertainment, and discover the cultural diversity of our region. Nearly 50 massive lanterns will line the winding pathways, the largest soaring over 30 feet high and reaching 100 feet long. In addition to the lanterns, guests will enjoy culturally-inspired cuisine and live entertainment from regional performers. Performances will include Taiko drummers, Asian-inspired dance, origami art, character meet-and-greets, and more. Advanced tickets for the Asian Lantern Festival are available online now at Zoo Member rates of $17.95 per adult and $14.95 per child, or non-member rates of $19.95 per adult and $16.95 per child.
