Be Kind FoCo Week & Kindness Fest

Based on the belief that philanthropy begins with kindness, Be Kind FoCo Week & Kindness Fest is a celebration of kindness & philanthropy in Fort Collins. We invite the entire community to celebrate kindness citywide, whatever that means to them. Kicking off with a blood drive at Front Range Village on Monday, June 25th, and with a mayoral proclamation on June 21st proclaiming Be Kind FoCo Week, we are excited to make Be Kind FoCo Week an annual tradition. We encourage local businesses to host kindness challenges, families to find ways to give back, kids to find activities inspired by kindness that are meaningful to them, and neighborhoods to encourage kindness and neighborly service. Our Kindness Fest in Old Town Square features local organizations doing kindness-inspired work; young entrepreneur kindness ambassadors (kids who are giving back in innovative and important ways); a first responder expo with vehicles in tow; a spotlight of philanthropic businesses; and other fun and engaging ways to get to know our community through kindness. This year's event will feature live music by House With a Yard and Caitlin Ryan, games, swag, competitions, door prizes, and fun for all ages.
