Maestro Macelaru returns with a prismatic program celebrating artistic courage, change, and community. Lou Harrison's Concerto for Violin with Percussion Orchestra, featuring concertmaster Justin Bruns, honors the Festival co-founder's bold legacy and joyful activism. Anna Thorvaldsdottir's CATAMORPHOSIS explores our fragile planetary relationship, while Darian Donovan Thomas' world premiere illuminates the queer experience through a groundbreaking Creative Lab commission.
