Benton Alewife Festival

The Benton Alewife Festival celebrates the annual Alewife harvest and successful fish elevator program. Benton is home to the largest Alewife run on the East Coast with a record breaking 6 million fish in 2024. The festival includes live music, food, ice cream, samples of smoked alewives, guided trail walks, arts & craft projects, face painting, games, exhibitors and demonstrations.
