Big Band in the Park

Come join the old-timey fun in Clatskanie with a FREE Big Band Concert in the Park! Dance and listen to the snazzy harmonies and syncopated rhythms of the North Coast Big Band. Enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob, ice cream and beverages for sale to support the Clatskanie Arts Commission. A buck a raffle ticket gets you a chance at a set of season tickets (a $65 value!), as well as some delicious local farm fare. Thanks, once again, to the generosity of Donna Garlock, on Labor Day, Monday September 1st, from 2 to 4pm in the Clatskanie City Park, the Clatskanie Arts Commission kicks off its 36th annual Performing Arts Series with the annual classic. CAC will provide free coffee and cake at intermission, so bring your dancing shoes, your listening ears, and a lawn chair and enjoy a great afternoon. Bleacher seating will be available. Your vintage car will definitely recognize those Big Band vibes, so show off your shiny ride!!
