BirthdayDreams.org - Miles for Smiles Activity Challenge

Participate in the Miles for Smiles 5K any time during the two weeks and share your pictures through social media. All Birthday Dreams supporters, parents, children, friends, family, neighbors, basically anyone, is welcome to participate! Form a team and start the fundraising. You can even make it a fun competition within your team or between teams. Who can log the most miles? Who can raise the most funds? Who can recruit the most team members?  Who can get the most photos for the photo scavenger hunt? Yes, there will be an optional photo scavenger hunt that you can participate in. See how many photos you can get while you are out and about.

What kind of activity counts? You can walk, run, swim, bike - any activity that gets your steps/miles!

This is more than just a fun event with friends and family - it's an opportunity to:
-    Strengthen team bonds as you work toward shared goals.
-    Energize your friends and co-workers with a healthy, active challenge.
-    Create smiles for children who deserve joy on their special day.
Here's how it works:
1.    Form a team with your friends, family and coworkers at smiles.birthdaydreams.org.
2.    Log miles (walking, running, or biking) or participate in other activities to contribute to your team's progress.
3.    Celebrate your success while raising funds to provide birthday parties for kids in need.

This is a virtual event. You can do it individually or form a team and be active together. Some ideas are to walk at lunch with co-workers, get friends and family together and go hiking, biking or other activities on the weekends, or take a nice stroll along the waterfront.
