Join Bookmarks for the 20th Anniversary Festival of Books and Authors, September 25–28, 2025. At the festival's heart is a celebration of books for all ages, with author panels, book signings, and readings across all genres. A dedicated children's area will offer fun activities for younger readers, and visitors can enjoy various exhibitors, vendors, and food trucks. Local organizations will also be featured, showcasing the community spirit in Winston-Salem. Bookmarks has continued to grow over the years and is now home to one of the nation's only nonprofit independent bookstores, along with year-round author events, book programs, and community outreach initiatives. The festival is for everyone, and the entire community is invited to be part of this milestone celebration.
