The Wessex Event Company are delighted to be holding their 5th Summer Fair in the beautiful house and grounds at Bryanston School on Saturday 23th and Sunday 24th May this year Bring the whole family for a fantastic day out — there truly is something for everyone. Be inspired by more than 100 artisan food, craft, plant and garden stalls, showcasing everything from handmade goods to garden furniture and accessories. When you’re ready for a break, head to one of the two Street Food Areas, offering a mouth watering range of options including pizzas, bratwurst, Thai dishes, falafels, Dorset lamb burgers, Greek BBQ, mac and cheese, hot potatoes, ice cream, churros and crêpes. Enjoy them with coffee, tea, soft drinks or something a little stronger from the Outpost Bar. Sit back, relax and soak up the atmosphere while listening to fabulous live music from talented local performers. Popular workshops return for the weekend, including Children’s Chocolate Lolly Making. As well as enjoy crowd favourites such as falconry displays, classic cars and thrilling live fire shows. New for this year: are Forest School sessions and pottery painting workshops for all ages, plus flower arranging demonstrations on both days. There’s loads for children to explore. Activities include a climbing wall, caving experience, bouncy castle, rides, games and face painting — and new this year, axe throwing and archery in a secure, supervised area. Also availble is a Circus Skills Workshop on both days, Andy the Magic Man, Rugby Tots, a craft area, alpaca walking, and meet and greets with Disney Princesses and superheroes. Entry is just £5 for adults and £1 for children under 16, making this one of the best-value, family friendly days out in the area this summer.
