Cathcart Community Council are excited to be hosting Cathcart’s very own Window Wanderland. The event is open to everyone of all ages and abilities and local residents and businesses are invited to take part by registering their windows on the event website. The festival is supported by CALA homes and Cathcart and District Housing Association. The theme is ‘love’ - but people are free to choose any theme they like. In fact anything goes- as long as it’s family friendly!. From a simple display of fairy lights or favourite toys to spectacular silhouettes and ‘stained glass’ type designs everything will be a welcome addition and bring some light, fun and colour to the dark Winter streets. Free community workshops will be held in the run up to the festival to help people generate ideas.
