It's the 20th Anniversary of the O. Winston Link Museum, and time to celebrate!!! Join us for Celebration at the Station, a street festival in honor of the museum and O. Winston Link. Celebration at the Station will be held on Saturday, August 17 from 11am to 3pm on Shenandoah Ave. NE between N. Jefferson and Williamson. The festival is free to the public. So much to see and do… • Restored 1948 Grottoes (Va.) Fire Truck, which Link famously photographed in 1957 • Tour O. Winston Link's caboose • Antique and restored fire trucks from the Virginia Fire Museum • Costumed photography session with artist L.S. King for her upcoming exhibition in the museum, "Maybe Smith's Imaginarium; An 1882 Mystery." • Special O. Winston Link lego display by Big Lick Bricks • Sign the Anniversary Wall • In-person voting for the final round of the Link at 20 Photography Contest • Vendors • Raffles Stop by the Celebration at the Station booth and get your coupon for discounted tickets to the museum that day. Check out the Link exhibitions in the museum: “Ghost Trains,” which closes on August 20, and the brand new “Technical Genius,” which takes a look behind the scenes at how Link captured his most iconic images. New and exclusive O. Winston Link merchandise will be available for purchase in the museum shop, including the limited reprint of “O.
