Step through the portal and into a world where Celtic folklore, Renaissance celebration, and holiday magic come together. The Celtic Winter Faire returns to John Prince Park on December 13–14 and 20–21, 2025, bringing two enchanting weekends of music, merriment, and timeless tradition to Palm Beach County. This year’s theme — The Year of the Gnome — fills the festival with whimsical fun, mischievous characters, and new experiences for all ages. Visitors are welcomed into a fully themed village inspired by the mythical Isle of Dunsky. Costumed performers, live musicians, and magical creatures roam the lanes, creating a festival atmosphere steeped in story, culture, and holiday charm. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy lively entertainment including the World-Famous Gnome Race, the hilarious Horseless Joust, and performances by returning favorites such as dazzling belly dancers and enchanting mermaids. The iconic Bells2Go Carillon, fresh from Universal Studios, fills the Faire with the beautiful sound of live hand-played bells. Hands-on activities are at the heart of the Celtic Winter Faire. Families can take part in free sword classes led by the Palm Beach Sword School, try their aim on the free traditional archery range, and enjoy free watercolor workshops suitable for all ages. Guests can meet skilled craftspeople during blacksmithing demonstrations and then step up to the forge themselves during safe, supervised “have-a-go” sessions. Educational falconry demonstrations provide close-up encounters with magnificent birds of prey (no bird flights). Visitors can explore a bustling artisan marketplace filled with handmade holiday gifts, jewelry, leatherwork, art, toys, clothing, treats, and one-of-a-kind creations from more than 100 local vendors and craftspeople. Two festive taverns serve ale, seasonal drinks, hearty food, and classic Renaissance-faire favorites like turkey legs. Young guests and families won’t want to miss a visit with Nicholas of the Whispering Pines, the island’s own Santa Claus, available for free holiday photos and warm storytelling moments. Wandering characters, including the mischievous gnomes, Krampus, and Mari Lwyd, add to the magical atmosphere.
