Chicago Epicurean and the V Foundation: Making a Footprint in Chicago

Chicago Epicurean unites an incredible group of influential individuals from the business, healthcare and philanthropic worlds with the best chefs from the Midwest and Napa Valley Vintners in a curated culinary journey aimed to delight the senses and warm the soul. While Chicago Epicurean is in its inaugural year, the V Foundation has been making an impact in the area for years. Since 1995, the V Foundation has awarded 43 grants totaling $13 million in the Chicago area. Chicago homegrown Hall of Famer Mike “Coach K” Krzyzewski, a V Foundation board member and dear friend of Jim Valvano, will host the event. Along with hearing inspirational insights from Coach K, attendees will enjoy spectacular food and wine from world-class chefs and vintners, learn directly from all-star scientists about the innovative research funded by the V Foundation, and bid on one-of-a-kind experiences at the Epic Auction Gala.
