Fall into an intoxicating mix of rumba and flamenco with legendary Gipsy Kings members Chico, Canut Reyes, Patchai Reyes and Paul Reyes.
Celebrate 30 years of Gipsy music in their first London concert since 2014, as they perform timeless hits like ‘Bamboleo’, ‘Volare’, ‘Djobi Djobi’ and ‘Hotel California’.
Inheritors of the legacy of Jose Reyes, Chico and the Gypsies were formed in 1992 after the break-up of the Gipsy Kings. They play music that combines Chico’s north African roots with rich traveling culture and its traditions that were transported from Catalonia to the Mediterranean regions of southern France in the 30s. It’s music that embodies the passion, love and exuberance of the traditional gypsy way of life and loves – vibrant, and inclusive.
A UNESCO for Peace Special Envoy, Chico believes in the power of reconciliation and the role that music can play. As he says: ‘When it comes to music, there are no borders’.
