Festival Details - "Chili Cook-Off at the Broad Street Market"...

The inaugural Chili Cook-Off during the City of Harrisburg’s Ice & Fire Festival sponsored by M&T Bank will be held at the Broad Street Market on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 5:30-8pm. Come sample chilis from nearly 15 Market vendors and other City restaurants and vote for your favorite! Beer will also be available for purchase from Zeroday Brewing & Lovedrafts Brewing. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 13*. Each ticket includes a wristband for entry, chili sample from each business (while supplies last) & 2 raffle tickets to vote. Awards for Judges Choice & Peoples Choice will be awarded at the end of the event. In addition to the cook-off, there will be ice sculptures outside the Market, fire & ice themed drink specials at participating businesses, and other entertainment. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Broad Street Market. Thank you to our chili cook-off sponsor, Capital Blue Cross!

*Only adult tickets can be purchased online. Tickets for youth under age 13 must be purchased at the event. Tickets for adults and youth can also be purchased at the Market stand from 10am-4pm Thursday-Saturday.

Be sure to come back the next day, March 4, for the unveiling of 60+ ice sculptures throughout the City along with a street festival Downtown from 11am-8pm. The street festival will feature fire dancers, a giant ice slide, fire pits & smores, live ice carvings, food trucks, artist market, performances by community groups, and more.
