Disney's The Little Mermaid will be presented at the Flynn April 10 through 13, 2025, with matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 p.m., evening performances Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and a final performance Sunday at 6 p.m.

Lyric Theatre Company is overjoyed to be bringing Disney's The Little Mermaid to The Flynn Main Stage in April. Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney's The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl" and "Part of Your World."

Ariel, King Triton's youngest daughter, wishes to pursue the Prince, Eric, in the world above, bargaining with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs. But the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs the help of her colorful friends, Flounder, Scuttle, and Sebastian to restore order under the sea.

Disney's The Little Mermaid brings some of the best-known songs from the past 30 years to the Flynn Main Stage with all the excitement and grandiosity you have come to expect from Lyric Theatre shows!

Saturday's evening performance will feature ASL translating for the hearing impaired, and the Sunday matinee will be audio-described for patrons who are blind or visually impaired.
