Festival Details - "Comedy @ Commonwealth Presents: BRIAN BAHE"...

Start: Friday, May 17, 2024 7:00PM
End: Friday, May 17, 2024 8:30PM

An evening of laughs with headlining comedian BRIAN BAHE and friends. Doors open at 6 PM. Show starts at 7 PM.

Brian “Miami” Bahe (he/him) is an Indigenous (Tohono O’odham, Hopi, Navajo), gay (vers bottom) comedian and writer originally from Phoenix, Arizona, now based in Los Angeles by way of New York City.

He was a New Face at the 2022 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. He was a writer for the FOX tv show “The Great North.” He was named a “Comedian You Should and Will Know in 2023” by Vulture. He taped a standup set for Comedy Central’s “Stand-Up Featuring.” He headlined Caroline’s on Broadway. His animated comedy pilot “Decolonize” was selected for the 2022 Indigenous List, which is a collaboration between The Blacklist, the Sundance Institute, and IllumiNative. His writing has appeared in McSweeney’s.

He hosts the kinda-monthly standup show “Star Fuckers: Astrology But Make It Comedy” at the Hollywood Improv Lab. He performed his stand-up solo show titled “Reading From My Phone” in both New York and Los Angeles.

He graduated from Arizona State University with degrees in English and Psychology (mostly including this so people know ASU is actually ok).

Comedy @ Commonwealth, Northern Kentucky’s newest comedy club, is housed in Commonwealth Sanctuary, the historic, former Tower Methodist Church, built in 1914. The original stained glass windows and custom-built, curved pews are all still on site. Now, in its new life as a Community Events Venue, this beautiful old building hosts the best stand-up comedy, music, theater, and cinema that you can find in the Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati area. The facility features a full sound system, programmable stage lighting, a 150-inch rear projection movie screen, and a concession stand where we serve a full menu, including beer, wine, and cocktails.

General Admission: USD 17.85
