Our second event of the summer, CRATE #8 will once again take place indoors + outdoors in a much expanded version that takes over the whole ground floor of the venue, followed by a live show in the evening. We’ll be joined by some of our favourite vinyl vendors and craft beer artisans from around the North West, including a selection of old favourites alongside some new faces that we’re excited to welcome along for the first time. Whether you’re hoping to find that coveted 12” you’ve been searching for or you’re just looking to sample some of the region’s finest IPAs, we’ll also have activities for kids and the whole family to make it an unmissable day out. The Market brings together the worlds of vinyl obsessives and craft beer aficionados for a daytime fair that pulls together some of the best local record labels, vendors, brewers, printmakers and DJs in the North West. Starting at 11am and running until 8pm, the Market is free entry. If you’re looking for something to do afterwards, we’ll also be hosting the inimitable Dur-Dur Band Int. in our Live Room from 8pm. Heroes of the Mogadishu disco scene in their native Somalia, we’re thrilled to have their unique brand of disco-funk landing in Birkenhead to top off CRATE.
